Playground at University Hills Duck Pond Park (All Ages)
Pack a picnic, check out the duck pond and then have fun at 1 of the 3 playgrounds at this park! There’s one right at the entrance off of Wells Blvd but if you wander a bit on the bike path you’ll find there’s an even bigger one just down to the right with structures for the toddler and 5-12 crew. Celebrate the magnificent pollinators of North America. See biologist and volunteers tag monarch butterflies. Discover how domestic and native bees sustain your environment, take home free milk-weed seeds or plants (supplies limited), join in a guided nature walk.

Toddler Time @ Art Works Now

Hyattsville Arts & Ales Festival
Stay with me…There’ll be a lot of kids’ activities and performers at this festival, including activities from Art Works Now, Joe’s Movement Emporium, Maryland Milestones, Capoeira, more. Now in its 10th year, enjoy over 100 exhibiting artists and artisans, Maryland breweries, food trucks and vendors, and live entertainment, block by block in Downtown Hyattsville.

Indian Creek Playground (All Ages)
Any time this weekend, check out this really fun and creative playground designed after Berwyn Heights’ earliest residents – a group of Algonquian people known as Nacotchtank.
