College Park CAVA to Open this November

Walked by the site for the soon-to-open CAVA in College Park a couple of weeks ago and noticed some ongoing construction, suggesting that the location’s opening was running a little bit behind schedule (previously projected for summer 2018).

CAVA College Park Maryland

When I reached out to CAVA earlier this month, a rep noted that they would “not be open by the end of the month, but should be soon after!” Open up the Diamondback this morning to read that they’re slated to open in November! To my knowledge, this will be the first CAVA in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

I love Mediterranean food so really looking forward to this opening, as well as the forthcoming opening of Mezze Grill at the Mall at Prince George’s (slated for October). In the meantime, can get my Mediterranean fix at College Park’s Marathon Deli & Kapnos Taverna as well as Yia Yia’s Kitchen in Beltsville.
