Open Gym Playtime (Ages Walking to 12)
Enjoy free play in the gymnastics arena. Giant foam pit, obstacle courses & trampolines. Two spaces for younger & older kids. Adults can play too! Check the fun to be had here!

Storytime Pop-up @ The Waterhole (Ages 0-5)
Interactive storytime @ a local juice bar. Singing, dancing & props. Kids rewarded w/ stickers/stamps. Go the extra mile, enjoy the Berry Nice Smoothie!

Glow-in-the-Dark Mini-Golf (All Ages)
One-time only for mini-golf in the dark & twilight carousel rides. Includes glow necklaces/bracelets & more fun surprises!

Saturday

Rafael’s Race (All Ages)
Annual 5K/1K race to honor Greenbelt Elementary School (GES) 4th grader Rafael Martins. Join GES & raise funds for field trips & Camp Spring, for kids w/ life-threatening illnesses. Volunteer oppts available too!
When: 8am-12pm

Children’s Porchfest (All Ages)
First ever children’s porchfest w/ local talent. All are welcome to enjoy music, games, storytelling & crafts in an artsy neighborhood. Tell your neighbors & friends!
When: 10am: Music @ 3202 31st; 10:45am: Games @ 31st Pocket Park; 11:30am: Storytelling @ 3202 Shepherd St; 12:15pm: Crafts @ 33rd & Shepherd, Spring Park

4th Annual Festival del Rio Anacostia (All Ages)
Expose kids & families to the Anacostia River. Nature walks & boat trips. Hands on activities, crafts, entertainment, delicious ethnic food & more!
When: 11am-4pm
Where: Bladensburg Waterfront Park, Bladensburg
Cost: Free!

Oktoberfest (All Ages)
Kids activities, beer garden, live entertainment, authentic Oktoberfest food, corn-hole tournament. Might as well call this Rocktober fest. ‘Cause it’s gonna be awesome!
When: 12-8pm (note: kid activities end @ 4pm)
Where: Riverdale Park Station, Riverdale Park

Family Fall Festival (All Ages)
Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon w/ games, arts & craft activities, petting zoo, moon bounce, live performances, health & wellness demos, free health screening, fitness classes, food trucks, DJ & more!
When: 1-4pm
Where: Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex, Landover
Cost: $7-$10, 2 and under free w/ paying adult

Teen Vocal Showcase (All Ages)
The ultimate singing competition for teens in Prince George’s County & the X-treme Teens program. They’ve been practicing for this moment, come cheer them on!
When: 7-10pm

Children’s Book Sale for Charity
Tons of children’s books for sale by local Hyattsville family (& Girl Scout buds) with proceeds of sale going to the Girl Scout’s SHARE program (gives financial aid to girls to pay for their dues, uniforms, and programs).
