Dang it. After spending two and a half years in College Park, MilkBoy has closed, according to a press release issued yesterday. Thankfully, art performances produced by The Clarice will continue, but still – this one stings.

Route 1 Gets New Mural in Downtown College Park

There’s a new mural in town – this time just above Nando’s Peri-Peri in College Park! This vibrant new public art just off the Route 1 corridor features native Maryland species including Baltimore’s Checkerspot Butterfly, Black-eyed Susan and a Diamondback Terrapin. (Notice, too, its incorporation of the Maryland flag’s gold, black, white and red colors.)

This chic, new blowdry and beauty bar specializes in caring for hair of every ethnicity, cut and coil – and just opened in the College Park Shopping Center on Route 1, just above Starbucks.
