Open Gym Playtime (Ages Walking to 12)
Kick off your shoes for gym time fun at the sports complex. Work up a sweat as you traverse the obstacle course or plunge into the giant foam pit. You can count on trampoline time! Check out our fun time here!

Laurel Historical Society’s Educator’s Open House (All Ages)
Make your way through the historical museum and let the kids have fun in the interactive play area. Educators and young leaders will appreciate the program handouts and giveaways. Grab a light refreshment and top of your evening!
When: 4-6pm

Parents’ Night Out (Ages 5-12)
Drop your kids off for a pizza and art party and have a night to yourself. Your kids will learn about artists, practice new skills, and play creative thinking games. Their night concludes with an art film. Yours ends in bliss!
When: 6-9pm

Movie Night! – Abominable
Is Friday night, movie night in your house? Why not treat your family and go to the theater? Abominable just released. Worth checking out this animated dream adventure about a Yeti. Especially if there’s popcorn involved!

Hyattsville Zombie Run!
Hyattsville Zombie Run is a fun 5K race to raise money to support our local schools! Dress up as a zombie or any Halloween costume to add to the fun! More about this fun race here.

Family Art Day: Imani Winds (All Ages)
What exactly is a windwood instrument, you might say? You can find out at this family-friendly event with prominent musicians. Enjoy making crafts and eating lunch with your hosts!

Where: Langley Park Community Center, Langley Park
Cost: Free!

College Park Day
We love this festival! Huge bouncy houses, face painting, live music, food and beverages (including the adult kind 😉 for purchase)! Read about our time here!

Family Fun Day @ Lidl (All Ages)
All are welcome to sample tasty food, get their face painted, and go home with giveaways at this chic new grocery store. Enjoy music and the bouncy house while you’re visiting.

Kinderfest 2019 (All Ages)
It’s a day to celebrate kids! Be amazed by magicians and roving clowns. Play carnival games and ride a real pony. Find your way through the pumpkin pyramid or make your own scarecrow, and more. All the stops are being pulled out today!
When: 12-5pm
Where: Watkins Regional Park, Upper Marlboro

3rd Annual Clowns Without Borders Spectacular (All Ages)
Put a smile on a face (and yours!) at this circus. With your ticket purchase, the show travels to refugee camps, conflict zones, and sites of natural disasters. Pay it forward with your ticket today!
When: 3pm, 8pm (doors open 30 min before shows)

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show
If your kids love this author and his books as much as ours do, you’ll definitely want to see this show. Come watch cherished stories like Brown Bear, Brown Bear and The Very Lonely Firefly come to life on stage. Caterpillars will be there too!

Fall Festival @ Montpelier Farms (All Ages)
Every fall activity you can imagine is available at this farm. Pumpkin patch, hayrides, corn maze, and the list goes on. Park yourself for the day and hobnob with the fall crowd. Try an apple cider slushie while you’re taking home goodies!

The Three Billy Goats Gruff Puppet Show (Ages 3.5 to 9)
Take your kids on a pupett adventure about three brothers who get a goat from a nagging troll. See them discover what the lesson about the grass is always greener means. Bonus, get a glance into the art of puppetry during the pre-show!

Rainbow Mushroom Hike (All Ages)
Go into the wild and see what colorful mushrooms you discover. A naturalist will lead this excursion in search for fungi of all shapes and sizes. There’s a mushroom for every color of the rainbow!
