Awesome Kids Activities
We go to College Park Day every year and always have a blast! From bounce houses and face painting for the toddler and preschooler kids to obstacle courses and a climb wall for school-age children, there’s so much to enjoy at this fun festival. No joke – we’ve easily spent the whole afternoon there!
Here’s a sneak peek of the kids activities for this year’s Festival:
- Touch-a-Truck
- Snow Plow Painting
- Helicopter Fly-ins
- Bounce Houses
- Obstacle Courses
- Climb Wall
- Face Painting
- Bubbles
- Mandy the Clown
And these are just the highlights!
Live Music & Bands
Did somebody say “Funsho“?! That’s right! Funsho Adenugba (2018 contestant on NBC’s The Voice) will be bringing his R&B magic to College Park Day, performing his songs in both English and Yoruba. Fantasm, the 2019 Baltimore Sun’s Readers Choice for Maryland’s Best Party Band, will be bringing their Rolling Stones – Arctic Monkeys – Neon Trees-type cover songs to the festival. Crush Funk Brass Band and a 6-piece Cumbia band will keep us all movin’ to the beat!
Delicious Food
No way you’ll get hangry at this festival! Plenty of food and drink vendors will be on hand to whet that healthy appetite of yours & mine! Need to perk up? Pinkava Coffee will have just the thing. At the festival around lunch or dinner (or both!) time? You’ll have your pick of Potomac Pizza, Kodi’s Grill, Food by Sani, CB Chinese Grill, Amity Kitchen Thai Food, Maria’s Pupuseria and Heavenly Created Desserts and Dogs. Maryland Dairy and Mister Magic will also be serving up some dessert.
And if your vision of dessert involves something with an ABV next to its name, rest assured that Denizens and Maryland Meadworks will have just the thing for your refined palette. 😉
