Kid-friendly fun all weekend along our beloved Route 1 Corridor! Friday looks to be a bit rainy so plenty of indoor activities to keep little hands busy. Saturday and Sunday look fantastic – which is double fantastic as there are so many fun outdoor and indoor things to do (including Maryland Day and a Pancake Fly-in in College Park, a Peter Rabbit Remix in Mount Rainier, Spring Celebration in Riverdale Park and more! Watkins Nature Center (All Ages)
Checked out this nature center yet? Great place to explore, especially when the weather’s gloomy! Full of birds, snakes, insects, reptiles amphibians as well as puppets / dress-up and roomy enough for little legs to carefully run around. Did we mention it’s free?

Wegmans Wonderplace (Toddlers represent)
Does your kiddo love grocery stores or stacking (and perhaps hoarding) play vegetables? Then this is the place for you all! Located inside the National Museum of American History, this free spot will keep your kiddo occupied for a good hour or so – then you can all check out the rest of this amazing museum!

This place is really great for 1-12-year-olds! HUGE. Two climbing walls. Two foam pits. Tons of equipment for curious ones to explore and blow off some steam. Very clean. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parents are required to be on the floor with the children (Maximum 3 child:1 adult). Travel tips and our rec here!

Pancake Fly-In (All Ages)
Get your day started with a hearty pancake breakfast and some lawn games on the historic College Park Airfield right next to the College Park Aviation Museum. Keep an eye out for planes taking off and landing at this rain or shine event while you enjoy your meal. Donations will support the airport and museum and include free admission to the museum! Registration strongly recommended.
