While all of y’all are excited to hear about Federalist Pig BBQ coming to Hyattsville (at the old Tire Place location as first reported by Route 1 Reporter), many others can’t wait for Nutrition 301 to opens its healthy shakes and energy tea doors along Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville! (And yes, it is possible to love both bbq and healthy shakes. Everything in moderation, like momma always said.)

From their pretty active Instagram page, we learned that Nutrition 301 is hoping to open this May (next month). Their menu will include nutritious gourmet shakes full of protein and packed with essential vitamins and minerals. Current mood: Trying to decide whether to first try the Butter Pecan Smoothie or Chocolate Caramel Shake.

Just a heads up – this is an HerbaLife store – I was suspicious when I drove past this morning (had not seen this blog post before) and googled the name. HerbaLife is an MLM, the shakes and teas are made from powder (absolutely no fruits and vegetables), and there is an incentive to sell and recruit new members, particularly those who are financially vulnerable.

Yes, I was disappointed this wasn’t real juice! It’s powdered chemical. I’m surprised Route One is even featuring this place.
