“Say it Nicely” – Interactive Performance by Heloisa Escudero
Visitors are invited to sit down and get their middle finger manicured. First they are required to give a small insight as to what they are saying nicely. They are provided with a form to write their cathartic message of displeasure. After the art nail is manicured, viewers place their beautiful middle finger on the form box for photo documentation. This is in conjunction with Heloisa Escudero’s current exhibition Integration which is on view through May 4th at Otis Street Arts Project.

Indian Classical Dance Workshop
Before Bollywood hits, there was classical Indian dancing. Check out a free dance workshop and learn some traditional South Indian dancing using feelings and emotions, musical notes and rhythm in this art known as Bharatanatyam.

Fair Housing Films and Panel Discussion

Wednesday is Law Day, when seniors can meet with a lawyer for FREE to discuss advance directives and health care power of attorney. The service is provided by a partnership between the City of Hyattsville, Hyattsville Aging in Place, Helping Hands University Park & more. May 1, 2019, 10am-2pm at the Hyattsville City Building (4310 Gallatin Street).
Thursday at 6pm, join the Prince George’s Audubon Society for a Bird Walk at Lake Artemesia. Free! No reservations required. Meet in parking lot at Berwyn Road and 55th Avenue in Berwyn Heights.
