Friday

Opening for “The Road That Leads West”
We are thrilled to announce our first student solo show “The Road That Leads West.” Come check out the work of photographer Benedict Gorman as he shares his reflections on slowing down.
When: 6-8pm
Where: Studio SoHy, Hyattsville

Stefon Harris & Blackout (USA)
Check out a modern jazz linchpin & his quintet at a unique performance venue w/ food & drinks. Mix of R&B & Latin sounds plus food. Sounds delightful!
When: 7pm, 9pm
Where: Milkboy Arthouse, College Park
Cost: $10-$25 

Listening Room Fall Concert Series: Alif Laila
Enjoy an uplifting evening w/ renowned sitar player surrounded by art. Local mead for sale to enjoy w/ your performance at the arts exchange!

Friday Jams w/ Lee & Adam of the Blue Plains
An organic musical performance w/ local residents to pair w/ your refreshing beer & oven-fresh pizza at this pizzeria establishment!

Saturday

Green Bowie Veterans Day 5
Support your Veterans & the environment @ a family-friendly race. Be active & green together. Make a difference in your community!

11th Annual Trash to Treasure Green Craft Fair (All Ages)
Feel good about shopping & stop by the green fair. Items for sale made from green materials. Exchange books & enter raffles. Learn from environmental groups & more!
When: 10am-4pm
Where: Watkins Nature Center, Upper Marlboro
Cost: Free admission, crafts & raffle for sale 

Opening Reception: ArtBurn by Paul Hrusa 
Contemplate Hrusa’s painterly ecosystem of landscape & artifact at the opening reception of his solo exhibition.

Where: 39th St. Gallery, Brentwood
Cost: Free!

11th College Park Blues Festival (All Ages)
Love the blues? This is your place to be. Lots of bands, dancing, vendors  & craft beers!
When: 6-11pm
Where: Ritchie Coliseum, College Park
Cost: Free!

The Renovation Reception: An Auditorium Unveiling
Be one of the first to check out the renovated historic movie theatre. Enjoy local food & beer samples, plus live music & discussions. Advance ticket sales only.

Where: Old Greenbelt Theatre, Greenbelt
Cost: “Pay what you can” structure, get tickets here 

Unring the Bell / Flying Jacob
Come grab a beer and hear some local rock at this all-ages rockin’ show!

Sunday

The Arctic Refuge Experience. Step In. Step Up. 
Experience a year in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in an interactive art installation. Fight back against Big Oil. 100% of proceeds help protect this land.

Red Dirt Open Studio, Fall 2019

Community Yoga
