Friday

Smithsonian Food History Weekend 
Kids love the kitchen! Cooking activities, food demos & more all weekend. Something smells good for everyone! 😉
When: 10:30am-5:30pm
Where: The National Museum of American History, Washington, DC
Cost: Free!

47th Annual Harvest Bazaar @ Holy Redeemer 
Holiday tradition @ a local school. White elephant & yard sale. Games, crafts & DJ. Playground onsite. Pizza lunch or surf or turf dinner. Perfect!
When: 12:30-9pm
Where: Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, College Park
Cost: Free admission!, fee for some food, activities, games & gifts 

STEM for Families: Mixed Reactions (Ages 5-12)
Chemistry fun to rock your world. Combustion reactions & growing, foaming & color-changing experiments. Science = fun @ the library!
When: 4-5pm
Where: Glenarden Library, Glenarden
Cost: Free! 

Open Gym Time @ PG Sports Complex (Ages Walking to 12)
It’s open play! Lots of obstacle courses, trampolines, ropes & more for kiddos to explore. Parents can frolic in the gym arena too! Check out our fun time here!
When: 4:30-5:30pm
Where: PG Sports & Learning Complex, Landover
Cost: $7/participant 

Saturday

47th Annual Harvest Bazaar @ Holy Redeemer 
Kickoff the holidays w/ a trip to Santa’s secret workshop & get pics w/ St. Nick! Bingo, crafts & more at a local school. Don’t forget the bbque lunch or Italian dinner. All day affair!
When: 8am-10pm
Where: Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, College Park
Cost: Free admission!, food, gifts & games for small fee 

JCPenney KidZone: Frozen 2 Frenzy!
Create a colorful Frozen 2 cinch bag to take home at the Mall. Parents get extra savings coupons. Win-win!
When: 11am-12pm

Santa’s PJ Party!
Join us in Center Court as we celebrate Santa’s arrival to Mall at Prince George’s!  Stop by the Santa Set for a visit and family photo! Purchase Package A and receive a $10 Gift Card!  Art activities, games, and treats for the kids. Don’t forget to wear your PJ’s!

Bilingual Library & Community Festival 
Step in for family fun @ the library. Leave w/ great community resources in Spanish & English. Tell your neighbors! Our time at this renovated library here!

Xtreme TEENS: Treat Yo’Self 101 Series – DIY Lip Balm (Ages 10-17)

Girls Basketball Clinic (2nd – 8th Grade)
Join Elizabeth Seton High School players and coaches for a fun filled day of skill development, games and competition!
When: 9:30am-3:30pm
Where: The Brooks Center, 57152 Emerson Street, Bladensburg
Cost: $30

Sketching the Seasons: Fall (Ages 14+)
Try your hand @ field sketching & nature journaling. Hike w/ a ranger & don’t forget a sketchbook! Dress for the weather & stay cozy.
When: 10-11:30am
Where: Patuxent Research Refuge (Education Classroom), Laurel
Cost: Free!, registration required 

Public Hayrides @ Watkins Regional Park (All Ages)
Autumn fields calling you. Come see them on a hayride w/ the fam. Afterwards, explore nature trails, nature center & the uber popular Wizard of Oz playground!
When: 1-3pm
Where: Old Maryland Farm, Upper Marlboro
Cost: $2 per person 

St. Martin’s Day Lantern Festival 
On the second Sunday in November, families come to make paper lanterns and then walk with them in the twilight while singing traditional songs of St. Martin’s Day.
When: 3:30-5:30pm
Where: College Park Arts Exchange, College Park
Cost: Free!

Kids Eat Free @ IHOP
