More good library news – this time about the Mount Rainier Library (more formally, the Mount Rainier Branch of the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System)!
A representative from the City of Mount Rainier reached out to Route One Fun to share the following status update:
“After being closed for a short period after many years of service, the newly renovated Mount Rainier Library will reopen on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. This event is being sponsored by PEPCO, the City of Mount Rainier, and the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System. There will be refreshments and giveaways for all ages.”
For those interested in attending, please RSVP with John Hoatson by email jhoatson at @mountrainiermd.org or by phone 301-985-6585.
The library is located at 3409 Rhode Island Avenue, Mount Rainier, MD 20712.
