Time to Explore! Young people can learn about maps, compasses and more Sunday, May 7 at the Laurel Museum’s Children’s Day. Participants will make fun crafts, enjoy snacks and take home goodies while learning about Laurel, and their neighborhood. Free, but donations appreciated and accepted! 1:30-3:30 p.m. Starts at the Laurel Municipal Pool Room, 901 Main Street, and includes discovery at the Laurel Museum next door (817 Main) and the current Museum exhibit:  “It’s All Laurel: City Limits and Beyond.” For more information visit www.laurelhistoricalsociety.org or contact info@laurelhistoricalsociety.org or 301-725-7975.
