What do you find when you dig around two 19th century tenant houses? April 26 at 7 p.m. join Laurel Historical Society Executive Director and Archaeologist Ann Bennett and discover what was uncovered during an archaeological dig at these two now-demolished structures. The virtual program will explore the excavation and research behind the project to document the houses formerly located on the campus of Laurel’s Pallotti High School. The program is free and open to the public but preregistration is required. Go to www.laurelhistoricalsociety.org to register. The program is being held to celebrate Maryland Archaeology month, and the Laurel Museum’s current exhibit: “It’s All Laurel.”, which runs through August 2024. The Laurel Museum, located at 817 Main Street, Laurel, MD. is open Fri-Sun 12-4. Admission is free.
