Well, looky here: An 8,500 sq. foot “food hall and ghost kitchen” is slated to open this summer at The Station at Riverdale Park. This new spot will feature “9 independent culinary concepts, a sleek wrap-around bar, and indoor/outdoor seating for 175+ guests.

DC’s Bad Saint Brings its Filipino Cuisine to Route 1 this Thursday!

Heard of Bad Saint? Of course you have – because you keep up on the DC food scene and know that this Filipino restaurant has won many, many awards of the gastronomic variety. This upcoming Thursday (2/25), Bad Saint will be doing a “neighborhood drop” collaboration with North Brentwood’s Material Things. Right outside of 2Fifty Texas BBQ is a beautiful, vibrant mural created by Riverdale Park’s own Tanglewood Sue. Debby Portillo & Fernando Gonzalez, owners of the critically-acclaimed restaurant in Riverdale Park, commissioned Sue to create a mural celebrating “where we come from, where we are and where we want to be.”

With so many of our local and beloved Prince George’s County restaurants struggling right now, we jumped online to ask you all to share this information about the reopening of the County’s Restaurant Resiliency Fund! Between now and this January 22nd, Prince George’s County restaurants can apply for grants up to $25,000. Please share this post with your favorite local restaurant ASAP!
