Spread the Word: $25K Grants for Prince George’s County’s Restaurants

With so many of our local and beloved Prince George’s County restaurants struggling right now, we jumped online to ask you all to share this news about the reopening of the County’s Restaurant Resiliency Fund! Between now and this January 22nd, Prince George’s County restaurants can apply for grants up to $25,000. Please share this post with your favorite local restaurant ASAP!

info on Prince George's County's Restaurant Resiliency Fund

Applications are reviewed and awarded on a rolling-basis, so the sooner your local restaurant hears the good word and applies, the better! (And many thanks to Route One Fun reader Abby McD for getting word of this program on our radar!)

From the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation:

“County Executive Angela Alsobrooks announced an additional appropriation of $3.3 million to assist restaurants and food service establishments that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

The Restaurant Resiliency Fund will provide grants up to $25,000 to Prince George’s County-based restaurants and food establishments to promote long-term sustainability and resiliency of businesses operations, support COVID-19 safety measures, and support businesses operating at reduced capacity.

Applications will be accepted between January 6, 2021 and January 22, 2021. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Grant will be awarded on a rolling basis.

Have a question? Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions before emailing us at RestaurantFund@co.pg.md.us .”
