The Hyattsville CDC recently announced a call for artists for the Riverdale Park Art Initiative. Seeks 5 sculptures of various styles and sizes to display for a one year-long placement in Riverdale Park. The stipend for selection in this Call is $2,000 per selected work. Right outside of 2Fifty Texas BBQ is a beautiful, vibrant mural created by Riverdale Park’s own Tanglewood Sue. Debby Portillo & Fernando Gonzalez, owners of the critically-acclaimed restaurant in Riverdale Park, commissioned Sue to create a mural celebrating “where we come from, where we are and where we want to be.”
