The City of Greenbelt is offering complimentary daily admission to the Greenbelt Aquatic & Fitness Center for furloughed workers (others welcome, too, for full fee), where you can enjoy a work out during your time off! Please show your federal employee/contractor ID and receive free daily admission and bring along up to two guests.

β Make a Lavender Eye Pillow
Three Little Birds Sewing Co is offering a free learn to sew class tomorrow at noon for furloughed workers. Learn how to make your own lavender eye pillow!

Check out a free bikram yoga class in Riverdale Park! Noon classes will be free for furloughed employees until the shutdown is over when a valid ID is presented at check-in.

β Beat the Shutdown Blues! Community Drum Circle
Connect with the community and release the shut down blues by banging on awesome world drums with drum circle facilitator Katy Gaughan. Drumming is proven to release stress, reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure and increase endorphins.
