FRIDAY
Playday at the Library: Teddy Bear Parade (Ages 0-5)
Bring your teddy bear or other stuffed friend for playtime and socialization at the library’s amphitheater. Rain or shine, a good time for everyone! Also an adjacent playground to explore afterwards! More info on the fun to be had at the Laurel Library here.

Gymnastics Workshop (Ages walking-12)
Bring your kids in for some open play time exploring gymnastics in a fun and safe environment, with family and friends. More about this open gym here.

SATURDAY
Trolley Trail Day (All Ages)
Fun run, bike rides, kids activities, food and drink, and more! This first-of-its-kind event is off the hook. You are sure to stumble across fun for the whole family along the trolley trail connecting College Park, Riverdale Park, and Hyattsville.

Community Art Day
Let the kids try their hands at weaving as a method for art-making, story-telling, and community building. Participants will create strips from non-traditional materials that will include images, words, and patterns. The culminating work of art will utilize the Art Works Now fence as a loom allowing for participants to weave their stories into the structure, together.

JCPenny Kids Zone (All Ages)

DinoRock’s Junkyard Pirates
DinoRock, an award-winning kids’ musical ensemble, will perform their show “Junkyard Pirates” at the City Building!

Japanese Windsock Class
Coinciding with Pizzeria Paradiso’s 2019 Spring Fest, Art Works Now will be holding a windsock making class, inspired by Japanese traditional windsocks: Koinoboris. So register the kid(s) for this class then head over to SpringFest to enjoy a bevvy of craft breweries, pizza and more! (Tickets req’d.)

Fiesta Asia (All Ages)
Come experience the richness of Asian cultures at this annual festival, held since 2010. There’ll be music, dance, martial arts, crafts, and plenty of shopping and Asian food to sample!

Arts Drop-in (All Ages)
Enjoy some brunch and art at this drop-in session. Create your own abstract expression with oil pastel (provided), using inspiration from Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky, a pioneer in abstract art.

Wonderful World of Watkins Trains, Carousel & Miniature Golf (All Ages)
Take a ride on the carousel at this regional park. Hop on their new mini train and wind through the woods. Play a game of mini-golf on their 18-hole course then check out this amazing Wizard of Oz playground!

Diven’s Den (Best for Ages 2+)
