THURSDAY 

Sip ‘N Paint – Fright Night!
Event features a 2-hour guided art instruction session of a Fright Night “Thriller”-themed painting with music selections from the 90’s – early 2000s. Complimentary creepy jell-o shots provided! Tickets must be purchased online.
When: 7-9pm
Where: Creative Saints Loft, Hyattsville
Cost: $30 (includes all supplies and instruction)

Thursday Night Music Series – roots Americana 
Eat some good Mediterranean food and listen to the tunes of great local musicians – this time around, an evening of roots Americana with Bumper Jacksons cofounder Chris Ousley. Always a fun time and can attest that their falafels, with some special sauce, will make you return for more!
When: 7-9pm
Where: Med Cafe, 3237 Rhode Island Ave, Mt. Rainier
Cost: Free (no cover)

Goodbye, Dragon Inn
Join for the last of our Classic Taiwanese Film Series with Goodbye Dragon Inn. We’re screening it in 35mm!

Grand Opening & Halloween Party!

SoHy Tattoo Arts Show
The SoHy Tattoo Arts Show will feature work from local Tattoo Studios Satchmoe Art, LLC and Whistle Stop Studio in addition to artists VK Paints + Artizmylov of Satchmoe Art, LLC and artists Gianna Gaudry, Brian Rohloff Design + Michelle Roberts! Check out the show, meet the artists, see the studios…and a have a good time:)When: 4-10pm

SoHy Spooktacular 
When you come to the SoHy Tattoo Arts show, be sure to stroll around SoHy and check out the local happenings. Maryland Meadworks has its grand opening, Creative Saints Loft will be hosting a creepy cupcake class and you can check out other SoHy businesses to see what they will be doing!

Vigilante’s Halloween Party – Haunted Grounds

Shelter Building Workshop 
Join us for a FREE community cat shelter building workshop. We’ll provide supplies and guide you through putting together a durable and warm shelter for outdoor cats.
When: 11am-2pm
Where: Alley Cat Rescue, 3906 Rhode Island Ave, Brentwood
Cost: Free!

Goddess Workshop
Join Asia Vianna for a Goddess inspired asana, pranayama, meditation, improv and self-exploration practice. This workshop will be infused with essential oils, use of the singing bowl, mudra and mantra guidance, as well as journaling. The first part of the workshop will be dedicated to finding your inner Goddess. The second part of the workshop will be dedicated to fulfilling her. Each yogini will leave with a small gift.When: 2pm

Community Yoga
