If you’re a parent or loved one of a kiddo, then chances are you’ve got some extra, unused diapers taking up space in your home. Before you think about throwing them out, though – please, please, please consider donating them to the Greater DC Diaper Drive happening now through Sunday, May 16th at Hyattsville’s Mall at Prince George’s.
When you consider that “most public aid programs don’t cover diapers, which run about $80 a month per child,” trust that your donation will be of immediate help and aid to so many local families. More on the drive at the Mall at Prince George’s, below.
Diaper Drive at Hyattsville’s Mall at Prince George’s
“Mall at Prince George’s has partnered with Greater DC Diaper Bank to support local families that are experiencing a need for diapers. Every baby should be clean, dry, healthy and happy.
Diaper donations can be dropped off in the boxes located in Center Court and Target Court now through Sunday, May 16. We are accepting unopened diapers of all sizes and brands for babies and toddlers.
For information on how to receive diapers for your family, please contact Greater DC Diaper Bank.”
