Mark your calendar, buy your tickets, and find a babysitter because it’s time for the 2020 UPES PTA Silent Auction! On February 29th from 6-9pm at Wallace Presbyterian Church you’ll have a chance to bid on wine tastings and catered dinners, sports and theater tickets, as well as behind-the-scenes tours, kids camps and activities, family adventures, an array of classes for all, and lots more! Funds raised help support our local professional development for teachers, enrichment classes for students, as well as books and supplies for classrooms, arts, recess activities, and the library.

HyBall 2020: Roadside Attraction Par-Tay at Pyramid Atlantic!

Who throws the *BEST* parties this stretch of the Route 1 Corridor? Why, Pyramid Atlantic, of course! Their HyBall (Hyattsville Ball) arts parties / fundraisers are notorious for producing the type of over-the-top fun that makes the morning after full of wonderful recaps, hilarious photo ops and perhaps momentary befuddlement, i.e. Did we really do that?!? Why did you let me do that? Let’s do that again next year! This year’s “Roadside Attraction” themed HyBall is happening on Saturday, February 29th. Australia Bushfire Relief Fundraiser at Vigilante Coffee

Vigilante Coffee just kicked off an Australia Bushfire Relief Fundraiser at both Vigilante Coffee cafes, Hyattsville & College Park. Fundraiser runs until January 13th. Donation jars are located by the registers and all donations made will be matched by Vigilante. 👏

What heartwarming news to read today: DARCARS Toyota will pay off the school lunch debt for *every* student in Prince George’s County Public Schools! 🤗 The DARCARS Automotive Group will provide PGCPS with a $25,000 check this afternoon. We know that this will be a relief for so many PGCPS friends and families. Yay, DARCARS!
