Forklift First Fridays!
Join in this official kick-off of the First Friday season! Music, pop-up market, local art, food and craft beer & wine. Family-friendly (we’ve brought the kids before!), fun way to kick off the weekend and indulge in some live music, peruse cool artwork and hang with new buds!

Pen & Pose: A Workshop in Yoga and Writing
In this workshop, we’ll use breath work, poses, mindfulness techniques, and writing exercises to connect with our bodies, mind and spirit. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat and your favorite notebook and pen.

A community event to benefit Mt. Rainier & Thomas Stone Elementary Schools! Come listen to the music of Ernesto “Gato” Gatell and his Cuban music band & bring your dancing shoes as you learn then Meringue, Salsa & Bachata! Free childcare available with pizza dinner.

Contra Dance: Kappy Laning Calling to Transatlantic Crossing
Contra dance is fun, fun, fun! It is danced to live music which can have an array of instruments depending on the band. At the beginning of each evening dance, there is a 30-minute lesson to go over all the basic steps that will be called. Once you get the moves for the dance, the pattern just repeats itself. Easy!

Friends of Dueling Creek is sponsoring a spring bird walk at Colmar Manor Park – all are welcome! We will walk around trails in the park for 2-3 hours – some trails may be muddy, long pants and sturdy shoes recommended. This will not be strenuous and all ages are welcome. Bring binoculars. No dogs please.
