Cyclocross Practice
Learn some bike racing in a nearby park. Get your hardcore gear ready! 10 minute intro and Cyclocross drills like starts, foot-down, cornering basics, and short steep climbs.

Opening Reception for Inheritance by Imar Hutchins 
Six larger-than-life portrait collages on exhibit. Subjects range from artist’s mother to the late musician, Prince. Combination of screen printing, collage, and painting.

2019 Jazz Series @ the Meadworks
Enjoy a night of leisurely jazz with friends at a cozy table. Plenty of mead on tap to select from, whether you fancy a flight, growler or Belgian-style tulip glass full!

SATURDAY

2019 Maryland Seafood Festival (All Ages)
A tasty way to celebrate seafood including the Crab Soup Cook-Off. Music, crafts, chef demos, and kids zone for entertainment near the water. You can’t go wrong!

Pooch Plunge (Ages 18+)
What a great idea! An end of season splash party for your dog. 1 dog handler per dog. 75 dogs maximum. When: 11am-3pm
Where: Greenbelt Aquatic and Fitness Center, Greenbelt

Waterfront Art Festival (All Ages)
A family-friendly fun time celebrating the arts. Stroll the outdoor gallery and market. Participate in art workshops and demos. Creative zone just for kids, plus free boat tours, and tasty food!
When: 12-6pm

Opening receptions @ Brentwood Arts Exchange
New exhibitions on site to welcome fall. Check them out in the main gallery, lab gallery, and window display. Three themes: contortion, superpositions and memories. Wine and refreshments provided!

Maryland Renaissance Festival (All Ages)
A recreated English village from medieval times comes to life with games, attractions, and displays including jousting and visit by the royal court!

Aerial Yoga (Ages 16+)
We love this challenging class. Taught in low hammocks suspended from the ceiling. Supportive instructors guide you through poses. Build confidence, strength and flexibility! Register in advance here

Lecture: The Brief and Glorious History of Tucker Porcelain 
Lecture on the history of Tucker porcelain, premier American maker in the 19th century. Calverts of Riversdale purchased their collection in 1839. Check it out!
