Back in April of this year, we wrote here about Lil Coffee Cabin coming to Hyattsville’s University Town Center. Well, the wait is no more, fine people, as this cozy “cabin” opened its doors last month just across from the temporary location for Hyattsville library.
Fancy Drinks Galore at Hyattsville’s Lil Coffee Cabin
A walk inside this new spot reveals some cozy, cabin-like decor and a menu full of so many lattes, mochas, milkquakes, smoothies and “cabin coolers” that you’ll wish you brought your readers with you. (Or maybe that’s just me.) Free wi-fi, creamer and sugar at this cute new spot. (And the Bear Claw was tasty, indeed.) Enjoy!
Coffee and the Route 1 Corridor
Lucky for us, we’ve got lovely coffee options to explore along the Route 1 Corridor! A quick run through brings to mind Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville & College Park, The Board & Brew in College Park, Coffee at Shagga Coffee & Restaurant and Shortcake Bakery in Hyattsville, as well as Starbucks & Dunkin Donuts a-plenty. There’s also nearby Vie Cafe that opened earlier this year (more details about their Cuban coffee here. So plenty of coffee options, indeed – though this is the first with a log cabin-theme)!
So, where are your favorite places to get coffee in/around the Route 1 Corridor? Share in comments below!

I’m a huge fan of their S’Mores Milkquake, but the Cookies & Cream is amazing.
Woah! Haven’t tried either, yet! Thanks for the recommendations!
I cant wait to try this place! Otherwiseit always depends on how much time I have and what else they offer. I often get coffee at Wholefoods while shopping, $2 for a freshly ground brewed coffee with $1 refills and 25 cents off when you bring your own cup!!
Thanks, Sabrina! Didn’t know about the discount for using your own cup at Whole Foods. That nice!
I’m a big fan of the lil’ coffee cabin.
That’s great to hear, Jeremy! What do you like best about the Lil Coffee Cabin?
