Hook and Reel Cajun Seafood Coming to Hyattsville’s Mall at Prince George’s

Looks like Hyattsville’s Mall at Prince George’s will soon be adding Hook and Reel, a Cajun seafood restaurant and bar, to its growing menu of dining options at (and by) the Mall. Hook and Reel is slated to open this Hyattsville location this fall of 2019. The restaurant will be located in the vacant space next to Sun Trust Bank (corner of Belcrest and East-West Highway).

Along with nearby Beclaws Cajun Seafood restaurant at University Town Center (opened in 2017 as shared in this Route One Fun post about Beclaws), Hook & Reel will be adding more Cajun flair to our local dining scene!

According to their website, they’re also opening a Hook & Reel in Greenbelt (Beltway Plaza Mall) and there’s already a location at the Woodmore Towne Center in Glenarden. (There are other Hook & Reel locations; just noting the ones currently in and coming to Prince George’s County, Maryland.)

More New Dining Options Coming to Hyattsville’s Mall at Prince George’s

Kelly’s Cajun Grill will be opening a location at the Mall this summer. We imagine Kelly’s will be at the Mall’s Food Court, similar to its Union Station location. Folks seem to really dig Kelly’s Bourbon Chicken and its pricing, so there’s that!

As shared earlier on Route One Fun, Millers Ale House is slated to open at the Mall this fall, too.
