Gateway Open Studio Tour this Saturday!

The 15th Annual Gateway Open Studio Tour is this Saturday, May 11th from 11am – 5pm! This self-guided tour of over 100 artists studios, galleries, and other cultural venues in the Gateway Arts District is the DC region’s largest one-day visual arts event. Best of all? It’s happening in our neck of the woods!

15th Annual Gateway Open Studio Tour

At this incredibly popular event, you can view the work of over 100 amazingly talented artists and explore the spaces where many of the masterpieces are created. You might even get a chance to meet some of the artists. From music to painting to performance to glasswork – the Open Studio Tour is a great way to check out amazing art to your heart’s content!

FAQs

Do I need a ticket? No! All studios are FREE to visit and do not require tickets. On May 11, 2019, participating locations will be open from 11am to 5pm.

Is there parking available? Yes! Parking lots are located at many of the locations as well as along Route 1 / Rhode Island Avenue. Check the Open Studios Tour Map for specific locations and look for ‘OST Event Parking’ signs.

Where does the tour start? There is no defined starting or ending point on this tour. It is a self-guided experience and we encourage participants to plan ahead – there is a lot to see….

Which artists are participating? Visit the ARTISTS page for the most up-to-date listing of participating artists and locations.

Join the After-Party at Culinary Arts Incubator

After the tour, all are invited to join the artists at the Open Studio Tour After-Party from 5-8pm at the culinary arts incubator, Savor at Studio 3807. Enjoy!
