College Park food truck Fridays? That’s right! Downtown College Park will soon be jumpin’ this Friday with live music and food trucks aplenty!

This Friday is the kick-off of Downtown College Park Food Truck Hub! According to the latest Municipal Scene, “While the spring semester is in session, up to four food trucks will operate at the Hub every Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to midnight.” In the past, food trucks such as Q-Truck (quesadillas), Capital Chicken & Waffles, according to this article in the Diamondback.

Also on Friday evenings between 6-7pm, the Downtown area will feature local live music performances through the College Park City-University Partnership’s Outdoor Performance Series (“a weekly outdoor performance series that supports the vision of a sustainable, walkable, vibrant top-20 college town”) at the Little Tavern Park (7413 Baltimore Ave). Performers like 5 on Friday Jazz and Transatlantic Crossing will fill the air with some sweet, sweet tunes!

College Park food truck Fridays will begin operating on Friday, April 6 from 5:00 p.m. nearby City Hall (4500 Knox Road) in Downtown College Park.
