Has the pandemic made you a cocktail-making connoisseur, spending evenings getting familiar with spirits, liqueurs and maraschino cherries? Spiritually feeling the head nods, I claim you as my people. As such, you may have also found yourselves scanning your “barware” collection only to find sippy cups and hardy Ikea-type tumblers among the crowd. Again, I feel you. You put in all this work to create a delicious Whiskey Sour or Old-Fashioned only to have it rest in a chalice unworthy of its weight. I understand your complicated emotions. Which is why I was tickled to learn that Cheeky’s Vintage – full of eclectic bar, table and kitchenware – will be having its grand opening this Saturday (10/2) at its new location in Hyattsville!
Heather invited me in for a sneak peek and to share a bit about her story. As with Drake, Heather started…with Pyrex dishes – and adores all things Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian. Her collections include wares made by Dansk, Arabia of Finland, Russel Wright, Homer Laughlin & more.
Cheeky’s Vintage Opens in Hyattsville
Here’s a little bit about Cheeky’s from its esteemed owner, Heather Rowe: I wanted to introduce myself and invite you all to the Grand Opening of my new store…Cheeky’s Vintage.

The store is located in The SOHY Arts Building at 5132 Baltimore Avenue in Hyattsville.

Many of you will probably know the building as the “Tanglewood Sue” Building. I will be joining Suffragette City Vintage and My Dead Aunt’s Books as an independent retailer in the building.
