Unring the Bell, McLovins & Stacked Like Pancakes
Check out & support local musician Joe Brewer and his rock star band, Unring the Bell, at this performance at MilkBoy ArtHouse! Just read the band’s description and you’ll be smitten: “Like a middle-aged phoenix that rose from the ashes and then bought a 55-inch flatscreen, Unring the Bell formed in 2012 and then spent the next 3-plus years indoors, confirming its line-up and refining its sound. The band’s current roster features members of DC metal act, Brave, and erstwhile indie-rock troupes Edgewood, and DC elite [velvet]. The result is the sonic equivalent of a unicorn with nunchuks: upbeat modern-rock with a pop catchiness that’s destined to leave a post aural scar.”
