Beer Tasting – Peak Organic Brewery

Capoeira Angola
Check out Espaco Cultural Samba Trovao, a new Brazilian cultural community center in Hyattsville during their opening weekend! This evening, there’s a new special guest teacher Treinel Roque, from Brazil by way of Canada, will teach a 2-hour capoeira angola class!

Cold Brew Coffee Tasting
Join us as we sample the new line of Chameleon Cold Brewed Coffee. Cold brew coffee is all the rage for it satisfying rich taste without bitterness. Azalea Ride Reboot

2017 Maryland Day
With over 400 interactive activities andone-day open house featuring family-friendly and interactive events. Join the Greenwood School for its Silent Auction where you’ll have the chance to bid on great items like camps, birthday parties, beauty and wellness, sports memorabilia and more! Join Jon Moncton of J Moncton Custom Furniture & Cabinetry as he teaches the basics of wood milling. Learn how to properly and safely mill rough lumber into flat, straight, and square stock using a jointer, planer, and table saw.

Life, Animated
For Autism Awareness Month, we are screening this coming of age story about a boy and his family who overcame great challenges by turning Disney animated movies into a language to express love, loss, kinship and brotherhood. After the film, there will be a moderated discussion with Rev. Mark Granfors-Hunt, M. Div,. a Special Education Paraprofessional at Prince George’s County Public Schools’ James E. Duckworth Regional School.
