It’s going to be a cold weekend, my pretties. So, aside from this weekend’s Polar Bear Plunge, this magnificently curated list details activities all occurring indoors. From a Three Kings Day Celebration to Afternoon Aviators to Kids Yoga to a Needle Arts Group & The Pussyhat Project – you’ve got it all here! And…just kidding; there’s no Polar Plunge. Not this weekend….
AND, if you happen to love the above artwork above as much as I do, check out the really cool work of Adrienne S. Price, a local Prince George’s County artist who I had the fine luck of meeting last month as she was exhibiting her goods at one of Community Forklift’s First Fridays soirees. I was immediately drawn to the intricacy, detail and variety of Adrienne’s work. Kind of reminded me of some of Edward Gorey’s work. Which I similarly love! She’s also got some funky MD/Baltimore/Orioles-centered pieces that would look lovely in your office/living room. Adrienne’s work will soon be up in the Maryland House of Delegates in Annapolis, so – basically – she’s blowin up! Now’s your chance to to check out her website / work (and support local artists) before her prices skyrocket! 🙂
