Sneak Peek Inside MOD Pizza Riverdale Park (Opening Soon!)

Opening this Friday (10/20)!

This lady here got a sneak peek at the new MOD Pizza in Riverdale Park! Before I get into the pics, know that MOD Pizza’s schtick is that you can get an individual, artisan-style, brick oven baked pizza covered or lightly sprinkled with any amount of over 30 toppings for one price and at lightning speed (ditto with salad). I love pizza.  As in, desert-island-what-food-would-you-bring depth of love. Me and the fam have enjoyed many of the pizza places in our neck of the woods and are looking forward to checking out another – especially with this fun twist of any toppings/same price.

Speaking of checking out, the grand opening is this Friday (10/20). First 52 customers get free pizza or salad. Given that it opens at 10am, not sure how that will work but free is free is free.  More grand opening details on their Facebook page, here. Worth noting that 100% of opening day sales will be donated to Generosity::Feeds, a nonprofit focused on tackling childhood food insecurity.

And now, for your sneak peek:

Colorful and warm ambiance. Variety of chairs for the adventurous!

Love this wall w/ the pic collage!

Where the magic happens.
Variety of drinks, including chocolate milk (as gleefully observed by son!)

Warehouse-y, open ceiling design.  Overall, so open + bright.  Me dig.

Hey Corey! Yes, they do offer beer and wine! Sadly, as I was just there for lunch today and in a bit of a rush, I didn't get a beer but you're right, a beer + pizza sitting at one of their outdoor tables = divine! 🙂

Hey MDRE! Yeah, I checked it out for lunch today and tasted one of their pizzas. It was really good!! Do you know what's going in across the street (on Woodberry)? So much to wonder about!

Had no idea; thanks for keeping us up to date! I hope they'll offer beer with their pizza . . . after a long week at work, I would love one with a slice and a salad.

Cool. I was in there today. They are actually open today and tomorrow 12-2pm and 5-8pm before the grand opening. I guess they are trying to get ready for Friday.
