Storytime PopUp! @ The Waterhole (Best for ages 0-3)

Heart Candy Box
Celebrate love and kindness with a personalized candy heart box. In this workshop, you and your child can build a heart shaped box for Valentine’s Day perfect as a gift for someone you love or to stash all your super sweet Valentine’s Day goodies and keepsakes. Tip: Arrive early, supplies do run out.

Posh Kids Yoga Class (Ages 6+)

Saturdays at Seton – Dance, Grades 6-8
Join Elizabeth Seton High School‘s Dance Instructor Tiffany Quinn ’00 and members of Seton’s Dance Team for a morning of fun and movement! The clinic will cover basic techniques in several styles of dance. Girls in rising grades 6-8 at all skill levels are welcome. Please wear appropriate attire for dance and bring a water bottle.

Creative Saturday: Zbu Hoopism (Ages 6-12)
Come learn how to hula hoop dance! Creative Saturdays give children the experience of working with talented local artists to learn new art forms in a fun and stimulating way. Zbu Hoopism is a world renowned hula hoop performance artist who began performing in 2016 with Washington DC’s Nubian Spin, and is currently teaching hoop dance classes in the DC/Baltimore area.

Maple Sugaring at Brookside Gardens (Ages 3+)
Brookside is offering the opportunity to experience the American tradition of maple sugaring every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for the month of February. Sample sap directly from the source and watch the pros turn it into the sticky syrup no pancake should ever be without. Indian Creek Playground (All Ages)
Check out this really fun and creative playground designed after Berwyn Heights’ earliest residents – a group of Algonquian people known as Nacotchtank. Kiddos will have a blast climbing teepees, in an out of canoes and up and down dream catchers. If you get hungry afterwards, check out nearby Fishnet restaurant.

Bladensburg Waterfront Park
Head to Bladensburg Waterfront Park (BWP) for some outdoor fun! Kiddos can hit up the playground by the entrance, monkey about in the old B & O caboose, skip along the Anacostia River Trail, then pick up some cool stones to paint later when you return home.
