Route 1 Grocery Store Update: 3/25

So happy to hear that folks are finding these grocery store update posts to be useful – and even more accessible now that they’re also on the website!

Route 1 Grocery Store Update

As you may have noticed from yesterday’s post, we’re entering your insights and cross-posting any information we receive into the comments section for that day’s post. (So scroll down to the comments section to view insights.) Please know, though, that you’re all also welcome (and it would help save/speed up things on this end) to enter your info into the comments themselves.

Thank you, all! We’ve been doing this for over a week now and love hearing how folks are making good use of the info. Let’s keep it up! If you’re heading to the store today, please come back here and comment on what you see! 🙂

Target at PG Plaza was well stocked with food at 4 pm on 3/25. No toilet paper or paper towels, but they did have tissues. Limited bread and eggs, plenty of milk, dairy, and produce. Some dry/canned goods and frozen food. Staff were stocking as I shopped.

Target at the Mall at Prince George’s is doing the seniors and those with health problems shopping from 8-9am. Don’t know if that’s common knowledge. Different announcements in different places. But that’s what my husband experienced this morning and came back home.

Thanks, Krista! Love your updates! Yes, we did a post on seniors-only (and vulnerable pops) shopping hours earlier this week. Just added the Greenbelt Co-op to this list! 🙂

Check Walgreens (previously RiteAid) on Route 1 for paper products and pharmacy items. They were stocking items on Tuesday afternoon, we found what we needed!
