We’re pretty excited to check out the upcoming solar eclipse, especially as there are so many local places that are hosting viewing events – like the ones noted below! Β Check ’em out!
You’ll notice many of the events start before the actual eclipse time (2ish though some more in the know are putting their money on 2:41pm) – that’s to allow time for parking, settling, etc. Β And note, this list is not exhaustive; I just cobbled it together while drafting the Route One Fun! Weekend Guides, so if you’re aware of another viewing, feel free to add it in the comments.
Lastly, before you head anywhere, do yourself a solid and read NASA’s, How to View the Solar Eclipse Safely. π
Can’t attend? Β Naptime Conflicts? Β Don’t despair! Β Check out these webcasts of the eclipse: NASM: Observe the Solar Eclipse or NASA Eclipse Live Stream.
