Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m. join members of the Laurel Historical Society Exhibit Committee as they present 150 years in Laurel and the making of the 2020 Exhibit. Take a virtual tour and learn some of the stories behind their favorite artifacts.  What do they tell us about Laurel then, and what they can tell us about our changing society?  “Unpacking Laurel’s Past:  150 Years on Display, opened in February 2020 and will run through 2021 because of the pandemic.  Designed to celebrate Laurel’s 150th Anniversary, it includes artifacts illustrating Laurel’s pre-1870 and civic history, entertainment, transportation, education, businesses, diversity of faiths and community.
