Location: University Park Elementary School
Join your neighbors in the Azalea Classic 5K, 1miler, or 1K family fun run to raise money for our local elementary school, while also getting fit! All funds from the Azalea Classic go directly to the University Park Elementary School PTA, which provides much-needed support to the 500 students and their families from our neighborhood and surrounding communities. The PTA has raised funds to pay for science and playground equipment, library books, staff and student morale building events, gift cards for families in need, and more. This year in particular, our efforts have been focused on helping to keep our students and teachers safe by providing additional HEPA filters for classrooms and supporting our families during the challenges of virtual learning.
