Brentwood Arts Exchange’s Black Friday Sale
Check out (and perchance purchase!) some delightfully unique, one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry, blown glass, ceramics, handbags and more on sale at their Fine Craft Store (at 20% off but still paying the artists the same as with a regular sale).

Green Friday at Community Forklift
Community Forklift gives you an excuse to stay away from the mall! Instead of fighting crowds to buy presents, come by our warehouse to relax with friends and learn how to *MAKE* presents. Design a coaster, build a wreath, carve a butter spreader & more! 11am-1pm Live Music by 5onFriday; 2-4pm Live Music by Walter Weinschenk.

Light It Up – Holidays in Hyattsville
Businesses all along the Route 1 corridor will be lighting up their shops starting at 5 p.m. on Nov. 24th to kick off the shopping season. Many participating shops will be staying open till 8 p.m. and will also be hosting a special event or treat for visitors that night.

Black Friday Special Open Mic Hosted by E-Baby
For two hours, audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices, and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians and a different host every week.

Do what you can to support the many local businesses & neighbors who bring color and life to our lovely Route One. Explore their goods, classes, services, etc. I’ve tried to include the ones that have come across my radar, but if you know of more stores with special events, etc., please add in the comments.
