35th Annual Pottery Sale
Check out what students in the pottery school have been up to. Purchase pottery you like. Get inspired to try out a class of your own at a future date!
When: 11am-4pm
Where: Langley Park Community Center, Langley Park

Puppies & Barre
Join a barre express class w/ adoptable puppies! If you can’t resist, fill out an adoption (or foster!) form. 100% of proceeds go to Dogs XL Rescue. Pawsitively perfect!

7th Annual Winter Festival of Lights Trot for a Turkey 
Take a running (or walking!) tour of the winter holiday lights over a 3.1-mile course through the park. Your registration provides a holiday turkey to a family in need! Be sure & register early!
When: 6pm
Where: Watkins Regional Park, Upper Marlboro
Cost: $30, includes commemorative t-shirt & 1 turkey for a local family  

Green Owl Annual Holiday Party
Join us for sips and nibbles and to welcome the holiday season as well as view our new exhibit featuring Leda Black’s The Female Power Project!

Winter Cat Shelter Building Workshop
Come build winter cat shelters w/ friends. Materials (including fun decorations!) for the cats & light refreshments for the humans provided. Help a cat find a cozy spot this winter!

Memorial Clothing / Holiday Item Swap in honor of Rumi’s mom
Rumi’s 87 year old mother Taek-Hoon Matsuyama, died on Sunday, November 17. Rumi’s father, Toshimi, would like to offer her clothing and personal belongings to any in the community who can use them. The swap is open to all — folks who need things, folks who have things to offer, folks who just want to give and receive hugs. We’ll have light fare and mead to offer you (on us)
When: 2-4:30pm

Naked Jungle @ New Deal Cafe
