Rhythm and Rhyme at the Greenbelt Youth Center is a meetup geared toward children ages 0-5, that meets every Wednesday morning at 9:30 in the multipurpose room of the Greenbelt Youth Center during the school year. We start with ~30 minute circle time of songs and stories followed with free play. During this time of the year we play inside with toys provided by the recreation department, and when the weather warms up, we typically head to the playground across from the library. If you can’t make the 9:30 circle time, you are still welcome to join anytime for free play! Not only is R&R a great way to engage and socialize little ones, it’s also a wonderful opportunity to meet other local parents and caregivers. So please pass this information on to anyone who might be interested! Updates for R&R are typically posted in the Greenbelt Mamas and Papas Group.
