OhanaHC, which brings volunteers together to mentor Howard County students, will hold an inaugural 5K race and walk. Open to all ages, the fundraising event will include prizes for winners overall and per age group and a festival area with vendors, food trucks, games, music and family entertainment.
Event proceeds will support OhanaHC student mentees, ensuring the program remains free to them, and further the growth of the organization. Participants with children in strollers and pet dogs are welcome. Registration costs $30 for those aged 18 and older and $15 for those 17 and younger. A virtual option is available.
