4th Biennial Silk Road Dance Festival
Wedding in Bukhara presents timeless dances and rituals from the hidden world of the ich kari – the women’s quarters- that welcome a new bride into the family. Silk Road Dance Company – and guest artists Irfan Otkur and Lana – recreate a 19th century, celebration with Uzbek, Tajik, Afghan, Persian, Uighur and Indian performances that reflect the ethnic diversity of Bukhara, an ancient oasis city on the Silk Road. Beginners Ukulele Class
