Vintage Holiday Fashion Show
Need an excuse to wear your favorite fancy outfit? We’ve got you covered: Tanglewood Works, Bespoke Not Broke, and Nonasuch Vintage & Craft are teaming up for a glam vintage evening. We’ll have retro cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, vintage hair & makeup demos, a photobooth, a fashion show, and a few surprises! Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed, so be sure to dress to the nines.

Zumba
No experience necessary, just a desire to smile, sweat, and enjoy great international music. Kids are welcome! (I’ve been to this and it’s a really fun time!)

The University Park Woman’s Club welcomes you to their annual Candlelight Holiday House Tour, where homes in University Park and College Heights Estates will be open and beautifully decorated. Proceeds support college scholarships and community service projects of the local Woman’s Club.

Potomac Winds (feat. UMD grad & bud Ceylon Mitchell!) woodwind quintet closes their First Friday’s Series with a great blend of classical and popular tunes for the holidays. Each attendee gets $10 to use off a $20 or larger purchase. So come prepared to do your gift shopping.When: 8-10pm

College Park ParkRun
Head out on for a weekly, free, 5K, timed run. Afterwards, enjoy a post parkrun coffee in The Board & Brew, 8150 Baltimore Ave, College Park. The Holiday event the whole town is talking about! Tour some of Cheverly’s most charming and unique homes while you share fun and festive food and drink as you visit with friends and neighbors. The Cheverly Home Tour is a fundraiser that supports the Cheverly Weekday Nursery–a nursery school that has been serving the neighborhood and community since 1970.

Music for Food is a musician-led initiative that started in Boston and has since spread across the US. Its goal is to create awareness about hunger insecurity in America and to partner with audiences to raise money through donation-based concerts. The artists who perform receive no fee and the concert tickets are free with a kind request for any donation, 100% of which is then donated to a local food pantry or food bank.
