Carnival at Riverdale Park Station, Halfway to Halloween in Cheverly, Blue Sky Puppets in College Park, Aladdin on Ice in Laurel, Indoor/Outdoor Nature Fun in Mount Rainier, Kids Zone Event in Hyattsville, Egg Dying in Brentwood, Easter Egg Hunts a-plenty – all this kid-frienly fun along Route 1 corridor of Prince George’s County this weekend!

Friday Fun Along Route 1 Corridor

Indoor/Outdoor Fun @ Mount Rainier Nature Center
Hidden gem full of indoor & outdoor fun. Play area, activity center, & small animal exhibits. Playground, gazebo & goldfish pond with turtles. Hi, turtles! You’re too cute for shells. Storytime PopUp!  @ The Waterhole (Best for Ages 0-4)
Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays and more at this innovative collaboration between PGCMLS & Mt. Rainier’s fabulous organic juice & smoothie joint, The Waterhole. (While there, highly recommend getting the Berry Nice smoothie – delish and kid-approved!)

Ready to Read STEM @ South Bowie Branch (Ages 3-5)
Learn STEM outside the classroom with your kids. Innovative math or science activities & songs & games. STEM-smart friends abound at your local library. We love you, libraries!

Gymnastics Workshop / Open Gym at PG Sports & Learning Complex (Ages 1-12)
This place is really great for 1-12 year olds! HUGE. Two climbing walls. Two foam pits. Tons of equipment for curious ones to explore and blow off some steam. Very clean. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parents are required to be on the floor with the children (Maximum 3 child:1 adult). Check out our visit to this open gym here!
