Storytime PopUp! @ The Waterhole
Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays and more at this innovation collaboration between PGCMLS & Mt. Rainier’s fabulous organic juice & smoothie joint. Best for 0-5 years old. Curious? Then read my review of The Waterhole!

Explore! at the National Portrait Gallery
Bring the kid(s) to one of the coolest museums in DC! Follow my itinerary in here, including a stop-off at their Explore! Room and you’ll be all set to have a great time!

Secular Humanistic Shabbat in Mount Rainier
Please join as we transition from the work week to rejoice in friends, community, the gifts of nature and stillness. Rabbi Jeremy Kridel of Machar, the Secular Humanistic Jewish congregation will be leading a kid-friendly Shabbat service at a home in Mount Rainier, followed by a vegan/vegetarian meal.

Big Apple Circus
Each performance promises an action-packed show, filled with thrills, laughs, and a lifetime of memories. (Modifications will be made to the sound and lighting. In addition, the site will also provide sensory and calming areas for individuals and their families.)

Toddler Time @ Art Works Now

College Park Nursery School Open House and Fun Fair

Ready 2 Read Storytime: Celebrating Women’s History

Checked out this nature center yet? Great place to explore, especially when the weather’s cold! Full of birds, snakes, insects, reptiles amphibians as well as puppets / dress-up and roomy enough for little legs to carefully run around. Did I mention it’s free? 😉

Sunday Kid-Friendly Fun Along Route 1

Wegmans Wonderplace
Does your kiddo love grocery stores or stacking (and perhaps hoarding) play vegetables? Then this is the place for you all! Located inside the National Museum of American History, this free spot will keep your kiddo occupied for a good hour or so – then you can all check out the rest of this amazing museum!
When: 10am-4pm

Baby Love’s Yoga
Bring your little ones (4 – 12 months) to baby yoga. We’ll move in yoga-inspired poses that is age appropriate for little ones, and dance and sing.
When: 11am

Diven’s Den
Have fun in this STEM-inspired playroom located in the basement of the Laurel Historical Society, filled with crafts and activities designed to teach the young’ns a bit about the history of Laurel.
