Friday Fun Along Route 1

Black History Month Exhibit
DMV League of Artists presents this Black History Month Exhibit.
When: 6pm

Artist Reception: After Anaglypta
In a site-specific installation, artist Melissa Ezelle upends traditional and historical concepts of wallpaper as interior decoration or a device for concealment. Using cut paper, handmade printed lithographs, and screenprinting, Ezelle creates a lavishly unconfined interior landscape.

Opening Reception for WALL: Curated by Molly Ruppert
Walls can isolate and further divide us from what we have in common. Or a wall can simply be a nice place to hang a painting. Curator Molly Rupert poses these questions to a select group of artists.

Argentine Tango Workshop
Learn and dance your heart out; Argentine Tango classes are designed to be welcoming for all levels.

Guest Speaker for GREEN BOOK after Screening
Join us to hear from two guest speakers following the 8pm screening of Green Book. Susan G. Pearl is a local authority on Prince George’s County’s African-American historic buildings and communities. Anne E. Bruder is the Senior Architectural Historian for the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration where she has worked since 2001.

Saturday Fun Along Route 1

College Park ParkRun 
Head out on for a weekly, free, 5K, timed run. Afterwards, enjoy a post parkrun coffee in The Board & Brew, 8150 Baltimore Ave, College Park. All ages welcome!
