Creatives Meet Up & Gallery Exhibit Opening
Calling all creatives, artists, photographers, freelancers, coaches, designers, bloggers, etc. Our second creatives meet up is happening this month! Come out for networking, fun, and enjoy the artwork of our next exhibit artist Dew World!

Mocktails & Murals
Enjoy a fun evening of mocktails & painting with friends as an artist/Naturalist guides participants through the step-by-step creation of a nature-themed piece of artwork.

As homeowners, we sometimes need help with a project. The Hyattsville Preservation Association will help match up those who are about to embark on a project with those who have “been there, done that."

FRIDAY

Ten Thousand Villages Craft Sale
Do your holiday shopping while supporting fair trade incomes for the diverse artisan cultures of Asia, Africa, Latin American, and the Middle East. A special feature are the hand-knotted rugs crafted by fairly paid adults. There will also be a bake sale where you can buy homemade baked items, including bread, pies, cupcakes, cookies, and whoopie pies, among other items. Proceeds of the bake sale will help community programs.
When: 3-8pm

Kings and Queens is a multi-disciplinary project designed to highlight the contributions of African-American artists to the beloved musical genre: Rock n’ Roll.

Grand Opening of Posh Cycling & Fitness (Free demo classes!)
Come on out for FREE demo fitness classes, a live DJ, prizes, and much more!

We can't just not celebrate this momentus feat so we will celebrate with our own version of flowers and chocolate. We will be demonstrating and showcasing how many ways you can make an upcycled flower as well as passing out chocolate treats all day long. My post on Tanglewood Works here!

6th Annual Festival of Lights Trot for a Turkey
For more than 30 years visitors to the annual Winter Festival of Lights have been dazzled by twinkling light displays as they drove through Watkins Regional Park. This year, register to walk or run through the 3.1 mile course and see the dazzling displays up close. Your registration fee will provide a family in need with a holiday turkey. (Fellow Route One Fun reader has done this before and raves about how cool it is!)

SUNDAY

Community Yoga
