Riverdale Park Farmers Market
One of my fave farmers markets! We love strolling around the Riverdale Park Farmers Market, buying some fresh, local produce, grabbing a bite from one of the vendors and then heading to Town Center Market for a tasty beverage.

House PARTAY! Hyattsville’s Adam Ortiz opens his historic house to a bunch of rockin’ bands and folks eager to hear the beat! The band sets up in the perfectly sparse living room and you stand a couple of feet away, nodding your head and getting lost in levels of distortion you haven’t heard live since college (or since your last visit to DC9/Black Cat/9:30 Club, etc.) Yes, I’m a fan of this series! BYO (no underage drinking).

Tour de Greenbelt with the Mayor
Join us for our annual Labor Day ride with Greenbelt’s own Mayor Jordan. Mayor Jordan will lead a 2 part ride to show off our great biking in Greenbelt. We’ll do 2 one hour 6 mile loops: The first loop will leave at 9am to explore Greenbelt Station and the Indian Creek Trail. The second loop will depart around 10am (depending on when the first loop returns) and take a spin out to Schrom Hills Park. Maybe stick around afterwards to check out the Greenbelt Farmers Market?! When: 9am-11am
Where: Rides start and end at the New Deal Cafe, Greenbelt
Cost: Free!

Greenbelt Farmers Market
Check out this cool & big farmers market offering produce, pasture-raised meats, sustainable seafood, soaps, crepes, ice cream, breads and baked goods, goat cheese & more! When done shopping, head to the New Deal Cafe for some nosh and/or a coffee by Vigilante!
When: 10am-2pm

Carnival and Booths 
Rides by Sherwood Amusement; games, food and information booths by Greenbelt organizations.
