Teddy Bear Parade 
Bring a teddy bear or other stuffed friend and join us for singing, dancing and a parade led by our very own Laurel Bear. After the parade, head outside to play at adjacent playground!

Bilingual Afternoon at the Pond 
Come and explore the wetlands at Patuxent at afternoon time. Look for amphibians, fish, and bugs while learning some Spanish words. Bring water and wear boots. Register: 301-497-5887.When: 5-6pm

Gymnastics Workshop – Open Gym 
This place is really great for 1-12 year olds! HUGE. Two climbing walls. Two foam pits. Tons of equipment for curious ones to explore and blow off some steam. Very clean. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parents are required to be on the floor with the children (Maximum 3 child:1 adult). Check out my review here!

Youth Publishing Workshop 
Join Lift Bridge Publishing and Generation Write Now’s leadership for an informative discussion and free hands-on writing activities designed for youth who are interested in becoming published authors.

14th Annual Green Man Festival
Join us, rain or shine, for two days of music, vendors, crafts, environmental awareness, food, and fun in beautiful downtown! Drum circles, entertainment, dress up & more!

Screech & Kestrel

Meet two of North America’s smallest birds of prey: the American kestrel and eastern screech owl. Both expert hunters, the American kestrel uses its acrobatic prowess, while the eastern screech owlis a stealthy silent hunter.

Indian Creek Playground (All Ages)
Any time this weekend, check out this really fun and creative playground designed after Berwyn Heights’ earliest residents – a group of Algonquian people known as Nacotchtank.
